PLANT-IT TREE PLANTING INITIATIVE: PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Please read this Privacy section carefully, as it affects your rights and liabilities under the law.  If you do not agree with any term or condition in this Privacy section, you cannot use our app.
2. Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your right to privacy and providing you with a safe and secure user experience. Under this section, we explain how we collect, store and use the information that You provide to us through our app. By accessing and using our Plant-It app, you explicitly accept, without limitation or qualification, the collection, use and transfer of the personal information and non-personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
3. We endeavor to safeguard and protect your information.
4. You acknowledge and consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as it is critical for your use and access to our app. Subject to certain legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, you may withdraw this consent at any time. We will inform you of the consequences of withdrawing your consent. Unless permitted by law to do so, we will not collect, use and disclose your personal information without your consent. 
5. We collect specific personal information relating to Full Name, Full Address, Country, Email Address, and Phone Number from You when You visit and use our app. 
6. We do not collect credit card number(s), bank account information and related information on our app.  
7. We will never knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 18.  If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information about a child under the age of 18, that information will be immediately deleted from our database.  If your child has submitted his or her name through our app, and you wish to communicate with us, please do so by contacting us immediately.
8. We will only collect information for the purposes of the Promotion.
9. We disclose your information if legally required to do so, or at our discretion, pursuant to a request from a governmental entity, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect our rights or property, or our affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.
10. We will retain information collected, used, and disclosed for a minimum period of twelve months and a maximum period of thirty-six months from the latest date of your access, use and purchase on the app unless otherwise agreed upon.
11. Personal information collected through our online contact form becomes part of a contact list and is kept until the individual unsubscribes. When personal information has been used to make a decision about a specific individual, that information will be available to the individual for a minimum of twelve months and a maximum of twenty-four months from the date of the decision. In the event a request for personal information has been refused, the personal information relating to that request shall be retained for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months from the date refusal was delivered, not received. Once collected information has expired, it will be destroyed, erased, or made anonymous.
12. We keep the Personal Information that we collect at our offices at our storage service providers in Dublin, Ireland. We may, from time to time, also hold your personal information in connection with the purposes for which you provided your consent.
13. Plant-It app may contain links to other websites. This privacy section only applies to this app so when you link to other websites you should read their privacy policies.
14. Your personal information may be transferred to other countries for processing. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different personal data protection rules than in your country.
15. Notwithstanding the other provisions of this section, we may provide your personal information to a third party or to third parties to protect the rights, property, or safety, of us, our customers or third parties, or as otherwise required by law.
16. In general, you may request that we do not share your information with third parties. To do so, please contact us through email. Please be advised that you may lose access to certain services that we rely on third-party providers for.
17. We collect your name and e-mail address for the purpose of distributing our daily, weekly, or monthly newsletter service. The e-mail address provided will be used for delivery of information you have requested. The information we collect is used expressly to provide the services requested. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. We will never sell or rent your email address for any reason. Our Subscriptions complies with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL) 2014, as amended. To unsubscribe from our emails or other communication from us, you may follow the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email or email us to remove your information. However, this section does not cover the messages and advertisements you may receive within the Plant-It app.
18. Although we are not-for-profit organization and not subject to Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), but in cases where we can be subject to it, You have the following rights to the processing of your personal information under PIPEDA – 
    1. You have the right to request access or disclosure of a written copy of your personal information we collected.
    2. You have the right to correct inaccurate or outdated information we have about you.
    3. You have the right under certain circumstances to request for erasure or deletion of your personal information from this website.
    4. You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal information. Such withdrawal is subject to certain circumstances which would not affect the lawful processing of your information before you withdrew the consent.
    5. You have the right to transfer your personal information from this website to another organization, under certain circumstances.
    6. You have the right to object to automated processing or profiling of your information.
    7. You may restrict the processing of your personal information, under certain circumstances.
    8. You have the right to object to the processing of certain types of information that we collect, such as direct marketing.
